Chris Flaherty

As a career Naval officer from a rural village in upstate New York, Chris Flaherty designed a leadership development program for students that champions the ideals of service and character and connects students and schools with the broader world.

During PLS, Flaherty expanded the program to embed other military members in struggling schools to serve as role models for students, resources for teachers, and reassurance for the communities they serve.
