Andrew Erdmann

After four years of federal government service and then more than a decade as a consultant with McKinsey & Company, Erdmann concluded he could make the biggest impact for his family and community by joining the state government in his home state of Missouri. He now serves as the first Chief Operating Officer of Missouri.

During the PLS, Erdmann researched how to transform the State of Missouri’s approach to managing its talent and developing its next generation of leaders. This effort is the foundation for the State’s back-to-basics management reform agenda to improve both the quality of the work environment and its service for Missouri’s citizens.
